Room Size Effect in Social Experiments

The intersection between social preferences and economic behavior has been a subject of study for several decades and has been the focus of numerous recent experiments. A common finding in social preference research is that participants in laboratory experiments often choose options that do not maximize their own material payoffs when social influences are present. Building on this body of literature, we plan to investigate how varying the room environment in which dictator and ultimatum games are conducted influences participants’ decisions.
